University College Cork (UCC) dates back to 1845 and its seamless combination of the old and new provide an inspiring place to visit in Cork City.
UCC is located on the western part of Cork city, about 1km from the city centre.
Located at the centre of the UCC campus, this visitor centre is both the main information point and also the starting point for regular walking tours of the university.
These walking tours trace the history and culture of the university while visitors can see the Gothic Revival Quadrangle, Ogham stones, Aula Maxima (Great Hall) and the Lewis Glucksman Gallery.
Audio tours are also available.
Whether you are looking for today's paper, a book on your favourite subject or a souvenir of your visit to Cork and UCC, there's a shop to suit you on campus.
From a full carvery lunch in the Club Áras in the Student Centre to tea and scones in the Glucksman Café, there are plenty of cafés, bars and restaurants to choose from at UCC.
