Marlfield House will host an Autumn Game Lunch on Sunday 24th November in the elegant Conservatory Dining Room. Marlfield has long been regarded as one of the most celebrated country house hotels in Ireland and is synonymous with fine dining.
As a Relais et Chateaux and Blue Book house Marlfield is a beautifully restored house and culinary destination. The classical cooking showcases the finest local and seasonal ingredients and on this occasion the menu will be entirely dedicated to wild Irish game from the area. Surrounded by sparkling silver and flowers and overlooking the manicured lawns, lunch in the Conservatory Dining room is a classical experience steeped in elegance.
The Sunday lunch menu will pay homage to the abundance of wild Irish game to be found in the south east and an esteemed speaker will talk about game and how best to cook it, where is it found in Wexford and Wicklow and recommend wine pairings. Our fine dining heritage has given us decades of experience pairing wines . Cost €85 per person including pre lunch reception and wine pairings.
This event is part of Taste the Island.
