The world’s largest annual celebration of Irish music, language, song and dance returns to Drogheda, Co. Louth.
Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann returns to Drogheda in 2019 brings together thousands of people for a week of concerts, classes, competitions, traditional sessions and dancing.
For many, it is the culmination of months of hard work and practice as they compete against fellow musicians, singers and dancers to achieve the recognition of being crowned an All-Ireland champion. For visitors it is a unique and welcoming festival providing an opportunity to experience the best of traditional Irish music and art and offers a wide range of activities to be enjoyed by all.
Over half a million people visited the town for Fleadh Cheoil 2018 and Drogheda is ready to once again welcome musicians, their families and visitors alike in August 2019.
